1. Information We Collect

From customers: phone number (mandatory), name and email (optional), order history, Surpl Wallet balance and transactions, saved bags, approximate location (to show distance to vendors and enable navigation). From vendors: shop name, owner name, FSSAI licence number, shop address, GPS coordinates, bank account details (for payouts).

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account, process and fulfil orders, operate the Surpl Wallet, send push notifications about new bags, calculate distance to vendors, enable navigation, process weekly vendor payouts, and detect fraud.

3. Information Shared With Vendors

When you place an order, we share your name and phone number with the vendor you're ordering from, so they can identify your order and reach you if there's a genuine issue with pickup (for example, if you're running late or there's a problem with your order). Vendors only see this information for orders placed with them — they cannot see your other account details, payment information, wallet balance, or your order history with other vendors. Likewise, we show you the vendor's shop name and location so you can find them for pickup.

4. Location Data

We use your approximate location to show distance from you to vendors and to enable navigation. We do not track your location continuously. You may deny location permission — the app still works but distance and navigation features will be unavailable.

5. Payment Information

Payments are processed by Razorpay. Surpl does not store your card, UPI PIN, or bank account credentials.

6. Data Processors

Your data is processed by Google Firebase (database, authentication, storage, notifications) and Razorpay (payments). We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising.

7. Push Notifications

With your permission, we send push notifications when new bags are listed near you and when your orders are updated. You can disable these in your device settings at any time.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting hello@surpl.in.

9. Children's Privacy

Surpl is for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
