How vendor earnings work
You set the bag price. Customer pays via UPI. Razorpay holds the payment. Every Monday we settle directly to your bank account via NEFT/UPI after deducting our 18% commission + 2% payment gateway fee. No cash, no confusion.
GST note: Surpl's platform commission is a taxable service under Indian GST law. 18% GST is charged on top of our 18% commission. Example on a ₹80 bag: commission ₹14.4 + GST on commission ₹2.59 + payment gateway ₹1.6 = you receive approx ₹61.4. Surpl collects and files this GST with the government — you do not pay it separately. Consult your CA for your own food business GST obligations (mandatory once turnover exceeds ₹20L/year).
